Southgate Dental Centre is operating at normal hours and offering all dental procedures for new and existing patients. For any emergency related walk-ins we will always do our best to accommodate you as fast as we can for same day appointments.
If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call us at 587-414-6168 to book an emergency appointment and we will schedule you for a same-day appointment where possible.
Our general COVID-19 safety precautions are as follows:
- Daily Screening for COVID symptoms for Patients, Staff, and Doctors.
- Masks are recommended however not required for patients inside our practice; this is as per Alberta Health guidelines for healthcare practices.
- We suggest that patients use hand sanitizer upon arrival and departure of the practice; hand sanitizer will be available for use in the practice.
- All operatory staff will continue to wear level 3 masks while in the clinic. Strict PPE protocols for aerosol and non-aerosol dental procedures are in place (including the use of face shields, N-95 masks, and gowns when indicated).
- Strict adherence to enhanced Infection Control protocols are followed.
- All surfaces will be disinfected regularly for your continued protection.
Procedures to follow when arriving for your appointment
- If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your appointment.
- Masks are recommended however not required for patients inside our practice; this is as per Alberta Health guidelines for healthcare practices.
- We are able to supply masks for those that do not have one.
