What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment using clear aligners made from a comprehensive 3D scan of your teeth. These aligners should fit your teeth precisely, applying subtle pressure in the right places to shift your teeth into the proper position. As your teeth start to shift, you’ll change to a new aligner which continues to adjust your teeth’s position. In most cases, you’ll switch to a new aligner every week or so.
Each aligner is transparent, making it difficult to see.
Can I Wear Invisalign?
Invisalign aligners can help with a wide variety of orthodontic concerns, from mild to severe. Although there are some instances in which Invisalign is not the most effective course of treatment, Invisalign aligners can correct most of the same issues as traditional braces.
Invisalign is commonly used for cases of:
- Gapped teeth
- Overbite
- Deep bite
- Crossbite
- Open bite
- Crowded or overlapping teeth
